Pool Season 2010
ACC Leisure Services operates five public outdoor pools. These pools are open during the summer months, only.

All pools close for the season, Sunday, August 8.

Bishop Park pool is open on the weekends, only.

Tuesday-Friday: 1:00-5:30p.m.
Saturday: Noon- 5:30p.m.
Sunday: 1:00-5:30p.m.

Pool Admission Fees and Pool Passes
$1.00 per person

Individual pool passes are $20. Family(up to 4) pool passes are $30.

ACC Leisure Services Report Card Rewards Program
Making the grade at the swimming pool!

ACC Leisure Services offers a new summer program celebrating students with good grades!

In order to be eligible, any student, Kindergarten through 12th grade, enrolled in a private or public school in Athens-Clarke County may bring his/her final report card to any of the Leisure Services five pools - Bishop Park, East Athens Community Center, Lay Park, Memorial Park, and Rocksprings Park and earn a special reward.

A report card with all A's or all E's guarantees a free summer pool pass. A report card with all A's and B's, or all E's and M's, is good for 16 free swims, and a report card with all A's, B's, and no more than 2 C's receives 8 free swims for the summer.

Keep those grades up during the school year and earn a free swimming pass during the summer!

Dolphins Swim Team
ACC Leisure Services will once again team up with University of Georgia's Athens Bulldog Swim Club to provide fun, competitive coed swim program. Program focuses on learning, developing and improving various swim strokes. Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the Bishop Park pool to register. Practices held Monday-Friday at the Bishop Park pool.
Ages: 5-18 (Age control prior to June 1 2010)
Dates: May 24- July 31
Practices: Monday-Friday
Meet Dates: TBA
Home Meets: Bishop Park Pool
Fee: $55 for ACC residents; $83 Non-ACC residents

Twinges in Rusty Hinges Aquatic Aerobics
Are there twinges of pain in your joints as you work out? Then join Kim Smith-Saxton for wonderful low impact aerobic exercise sessions at the Memorial Park Pool! For more information, please call (706) 613-3580.

Ages: 18 and older
Dates: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning on June 1st.
Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
Fee: $5 per person per session
