East Athens Educational Dance Center 390 McKinley Drive Athens, Georgia The East Athens Educational Dance Center offers an array of dance classes for young and older dancers. Starting at the East Athens Community Center,the success of the program led to a relocation to Dudley Park. A new SPLOST funded dance center officially opened November 5, 2005. Features and Amenities The newly constructed East Athens Educational Dance Center is more than 15,500 square feet in size and includes state of the art dance studios and a 5,000 square foot multipuroose area. The center boasts a state of art audio visual sound system, also. The multipurpose room is designed to be a black box and utilized for performances, as well. Other amenities include a catwalk around perimeter of multipurpose room to be utilized to aiml ights and assist with performances.
