Lifeguard Incentive ProgramACC Leisure Services is offering a new Lifeguard Incentive Program for prospective applicants!
Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services is currently seeking to hire 18 lifeguards for the summer, and additional pool management staff along with substitute lifeguards.
Any chosen applicant who receives his/her certification this spring will be reimbursed for his/her certification course if the applicant signs an agreement to work as a lifeguard for ACC Leisure Services this summer. Lifeguards will receive half their reimbursement at the beginning of the summer, and the remaining half at the end of the summer, if they work for ACC Leisure Services.
Lifeguard Certification opportunities abound in Athens-Clarke County including the Ramsey Center at the University of Georgia, the Athens YMCA, and YWCO.
ACC Leisure Services will begin accepting summer applications in January 2009.

Dance Camp InstructorsThe East Athens Educational Dance Center is hiring dance instrcutors for the summer dance camp program.
Instructors are needed in a variety of dance styles including ballet, creative movement,hip hop, jazz, modern, tap, and others.
Instructors are also needeed for dance programs throughout the year.

Skate Camp Instructors SoughtThe Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services is seeking Skate Camp Instructors for the Hot Wheels Skate Camp scheduled for June 8-12 at the Skate Park of Athens at Southeast Clarke Park.
The Skate Camp provides a safe environment for youth to skateboard, bike, skate, to have fun and learn new tricks. The Skate Camp at Southeast Clarke Park takes participants regardless of ability and you will have an opportunity to teach a child to grow, and make new friends while having fun.
Instructors will direct children, ages 6-14, on the art of skateboarding, BMX biking, and Skating; Skate Camp Instructor Auditions are scheduled for May 2 from 8:00am to Noon at Southeast Clarke Park Skate Park at 4440 Lexington Road. Qualified instructors will receive $20.00 per hour.
