Lyndon House Instructors

Robert Brown
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia. He has taught art in South Carolina elementary schools. He has read and enjoyed comic books, cartooning, and sequential art in a variety of forms since the age of eight.

Toni Carlucci
Master of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia. She has taught art since 1987. Seven years ago she began studying and practicing drawing intensely and finds it to be one of life's greatest joys.

Nancy Carter
Bachelor of Arts from Agens Scott Colelge in Art, a MAT, Harvard University, Master of Fine Arts, the University of Georgia. Nancy has taught art at all levels from elementary through university. She received a Food Foundation Grant while at UGA, was an artists-in-residence in Cortona, Italy, and was selected for the Artists-In-Education program of the Georgia Council of the Arts who also awarded her an Individual Artists Grant to explore papermaking with native fibers.

Tim Flinn
Studied pottery through the folk tradition of learning from other folk potters such as Todd and Eric Hewell at Crow Ridge Pottery.

Don Highfield
Lifelong artist he is past Resident of the Chattanooga Woodcarvers Association, has instructed at a Carousel Carving School and Northwestern Technical College. Don was an Artist in Residence for the Association for Visual Artists.

Erin Hoffman
Masters of Fine Art in Printmaking, University of Georgia. Her recent work, Finding American, was on exhibit at the Georgia Museum of Art in Spring 2005. She teaches at Gainesville College and the University of Georgia.

Terri Jarrett
Award winning quilter with over 15 ribbons. Juried into two national shows. With almost ten years of experience, her excitement for quilting is infectious.

Pam McCloud
B.A. in Studio Art, Georgia Southern University. Pam has been creating jewelry designs in metal for twenty years and has taught in an arts center setting for over ten years. She is a Georgia certified art education for grades K-12.

Pat McGregor
Master of Education, the University of Georgia. Pat has taught for over twenty years from Kindergarten through seventh grade and adults. Besides teaching at Lyndon House, Pat enjoys teaching Sunday School and Bible studies.

Shannah Cahoe Montgomery
Master of Fine Arts in Photojournalism, the University of Georgia. Shannah owns her own commercial photography business, has won several awards, and publishes her work in newpapers and magazines. She finds photography the ideal medium for visual creativity and her love of storytelling.

Heike Mueller
Master of Woodworking Technology, Germany, where she apprecticed and taught in a vocational technical school. In 1997, moved to USA and opened a studio in Oconee County working on custom furtinure. Taught at Highland Hardward in Atlanta.

Jim Strawser
Bachelors degree in Photography, Southern Illinois University, 1967. Spent 25 years at UGA as visual communications specialist. Presently doing stock agricultural photgraphy for a worldwide market.

Charles Warnock
Master of Fine Arts in Painting. This Athens artist is well known for his large floral paintings. He was featured in the March/April 2004 Athens Magazine.
