Special Populations

Wonderful Wednesdays
This program, designed for adults with cognitive diabilities, teaches leisure skills and promotes community inclusion and exploration. Please call (706) 613-3580 for details.

Ages: 18 years and older
Dates: Wednesdays, September 9 and 23; October 7 and 21; November 4 and 18; December 2 and 16.
Winter Sessions: Wednesdays, January 13 & 27, February 10 & 24, March 3 & 24, April 7 & 21
Time: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Location: Various, depending on activity

Fee: $14 for ACC resident; $21 for non-county resident for entire eight-session package

BlazeSports Tennis
Come join us for
one-up, one-down tennis! This event is
open to individuals with and without
physical disabilities.

Ages:13 years and older
Time and Date:Wednesdays at 6:30-8:00 p.m. through October 28
Location:Bishop Park Covered Courts.
Fee:$29/ACC Residents and $44/Non-ACC Residents

Special Olympics Bocce Ball
Join us ot learn how ot play! Bocce ball is lots of fun! It can be very easy to play, but you are also able to strategize for competition.

As part of the program, we hope to take a group to State Fall Games, October 9-10, 2009.

Ages:21 years and olrder
Date: Thursdays, through October 8: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Holland Youth Sports Complex

Fee: Free!

Special Olympics Bowling
Get your bowling ball and shoes ready to �strike out� with us!
Ages: Individuals with cognitive disabilities, age 21 and older
Time: 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Location: Showtime Bowl
