Poetry Workshop
Participants will learn the basics of writing poetry as well as write an original poem and present it to the group. One participant will be chosen to read his/her poem on the radio.

After School Book Club
This program will increase reading and comprehension by encouraging teens to read and discuss books that are part of the classroom work at their school.

Girls Teen Club
The purpose of this group is to encourage cooperation, teamwork, good behavior and self-esteem in young women.

B.E.S.T.- Basic Employability Skills For Teens

Music to My Ears Saxophone & Trumpet Lessons
These lessons, designed for middle and high school students, help to improve play by concentrating on major scales and tone. Must have own instrument.

Brownie Bake-off Challenge

Red Cross Babysitting Course
Memorial Park offers an American Red Cross Babysitting Course, Saturday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

This program will be led by a American Red Cross certified instructor who will guide participants through basic leadership, safety, and supervisory skills needed to babysit.. This program is for ages 11-15. Cost is $30 for ACC residents and $45 for non-ACC residents. All participants must bring a sack lunch.

Registration is required by September 21 and takes place at the Memorial Park office weekdays between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Payment for classes is due at time of registration.

Ping Pong Tournament
Participants will compete in their age group. Trophies will be awarded for in each age group.

Classic City Majorettes
Come Twirl with the Best - Classic City Majorettes! We offer instruction in dance-twirling, strutting, marching techniques and more! (Batons and uniforms are extra and will be ordered at the first class.)

Modern Dance
Open level class for the beginning to moderately trained students-learning various modern dance techniques ranging in improvisation to Horton. The use of streamers, fabric, and other objects will be incorporated.

Teen Cartoon Illustrator's Club
This informal gathering of teens, who like to draw Anime and cartoons of all kinds, usually are a discussion of recent drawings and characters led by cartoonist artist Robert Brown.

Teens on Canvas
A great beginning and intermediate class for teens! Students learn about painting on canvas paper, and canvas board using acrylics. You pick your themes, non-stress environment. Come join the fun.
